작품 상세
An impressive, richly carved French mirror in the so-called à la Berain style in a pediment with a rare motif of South American Indians with feathered crowns on the sides and a chief riding in a horse-drawn carriage with a cherub in the center. The carving is complemented by two eagles sitting on the upper cornice of the superstructure. The Baroque mirror dates from the eight-year regency in France, when Philip II of Orleans ruled in place of the young Louis XV. Excellent condition. Country: France
