Rare teapot or pouring vessel from the Song-Yuan period. China, Song-Yuan period, 11th-13th century AD. Height approx. 14 cm. Stoneware clay, fired, with iron-rich brown to ochre glaze. Bulbous shape with short, funnel-shaped spout and three spiral-shaped plastic applications, one of which forms the handle. Body light beige, finely slurried, with evenly applied, matt glossy, dark brown glaze with vertical stripes, partly transitioning into honey-coloured tones.With TL certification from the Ralf Kotalla laboratory!Very good. Glaze with typical age craquelure, minimal chips on the spout rim. Lid replaced with a modern one. Seltenes Teekännchen oder Giesgefäß aus der Song-Yuan-Zeit. China, Song-Yuan-Zeit, 11.-13. Jh. n. Chr. H ca. 14cm. Steinzeugton, gebrannt, mit eisenhaltiger Braun- bis Ocker-Glasur. Bauchige Form mit kurzem, trichterförmig zulaufendem Ausguss und drei spiralig gewundenen plastischen Applikationen, eine davon als Henkelansatz ausgebildet. Korpus hellbeige, fein geschlämmt, mit gleichmäßig aufgetragener, matt glänzender, dunkelbrauner Glasur mit vertikalen Längen, teils in honigfarbene Töne übergehend.
