A shoulder pot from the Tang dynasty. China, Tang Dynasty, 8th�9th century AD. Height approx. 13 cm. Stoneware clay, fired. Bulbous rounded vessel with a flared rim and two small, ring-shaped openwork handles. Partially flowing thick ash glaze with iridescent grey, olive and yellow tones with irregular flow marks and a matt surface. Unglazed base ring with typical lighter firing zone.With TL certification from the Ralf Kotalla laboratory!Very good. Only minor age-related glaze flaking and minimal abrasion. Bauchig gerundetes Gefäß mit ausladender Mündung und zwei kleinen, ringförmig durchbrochenen Henkelösen. Partiell verlaufende dickflüssige Ascheglasur mit changierenden Grau-, Oliv- und Gelbtönen mit unregelmäßigen Fließspuren und matter Oberfläche.
