Large Pair of French Napoleon III Period Gilt Bronze and Alabaster Candelabras An impressive pair of French Napoleon III period gilt bronze and alabaster candelabras, each designed in the form of an urn issuing elaborate gilt floral branches with numerous blossoms and buds. The urns feature finely cast handles in the form of ram's heads joined by garlands, mounted on square alabaster bases with gilt beaded borders and toupie feet. The floral sprays are richly detailed, showcasing the high quality of mid-to-late 19th century French craftsmanship. Height: approximately 46 1/2 in. (118.1 cm.) Base: 7 9/16 in.
