French Terracotta Figural Lamp Group After Boucher, by Vavasseur, Paris A large and finely modeled French terracotta sculptural group depicting three playful putti with a goat and grape clusters, set on an oval base and converted into a decorative table lamp. The figures are inspired by the Rococo designs of Francois Boucher and signed indistinctly on the base: "d'apres Boucher, Vavasseur Paris." The lamp features an ornate vintage shade embellished with lace, fringe, ribbon, and floral applique. An impressive and charming decorative piece.
