A pair of twin light adjustable patinated and doré bronze candelabra with exotic cherub supports. The cherubs in patinated bronze wear doré exotic Scythian style warrior caps with long neck flaps on the backs along with tasseled belts, and also wear patinated baldrics and bracelets. They stand in a dance pose holding the two lights with exotic smiling masks that wear exotic tasseled caps with back flaps. The painted wood "candles" are in sockets with palmette and bud motifs. The cherubs stand on doré globes on columns decorated with feather and twist patterns with leafy finials and mounted on black bases. Provenance: The estate of a lady, Mamaroneck, NY Dimensions: 7 1/2" W x 5" D x 36" H The candelabra measures 21” H from the base of the bronze figure to the top of the bobeche, excluding the wooden candlesticks and black wood plinth.
