A pair of brass candelabras each depicting a bearded figure. Each candelabra holds two candles. This item belonged to the estate of Levey Brothers Company businessman, Louis H. Levey. Mr. Levey died in 1934 and the object was acquired by the Indianapolis Medical Society (est. 1848) after the death of Mrs. Meta Levey in 1959. Original pictures of the Levey home show these brass candlesticks displayed on a fireplace mantle.
