Spanish rectangular pottery tile fragment, mottled turquoise and white glaze, purportedly taken from a house where Francisco Goya (Spanish, 1746-1828) once lived, surface scratches, 5 1/2" l. a longest point; black matte New Mexican jug, flakes and chips; canteen-shaped clay vessel, applied double loop handles, incised circle decoration, repaired spout, 8 3/4" h.; W. & F. Frank Reiss Kelley (American, 20th C.) pottery vase, blue and green pastel glaze, signed underside of base; along with c. 1950 James & Philip Secrest (American, 20th C.) gray resist-glazed pottery bird, inscribed "Secrest" and dated "'48" on base; early 19th C. lidded earthenware crock, applied handles, dark brown glaze, mostly minor chips and flakes throughout, 8 1/2" h.; early 19th C. stoneware beer bottle with desiccated stopper, orange peel glaze, stamped in cobalt "Francis" along shoulder, chips at base, surface roughness, 10 1/4" h.; c. 1945 redware covered bean pot with one handle, reddish brown glaze, crazing, roughness to base, residual masking tape, 5 3/4" h.; along with mid-20th C. Elizabeth Smalley earthenware crock, applied and twisted handles, three-toned glaze, inscribed "Smalley" underside of base, 7 1/2" h. [De-accessioned from a Connecticut Museum]
