Hand Made 1844 Christmas and Blue and White Jacquard Coverlets. (1) 1844 Christmas jacquard coverlet, 83" X 95". Green, red, navy blue, and white coverlet. Decorated with snowflakes, grape leaves, and mansions with flowers. Marked in corner, "M. Hoke; York. PA.; 1844.; W. Hughes." Unbelievable condition for a piece of this nature that is almost 200 years old. Has some losses (mostly to blue) and spots with discoloration/stains. Some fringe loss. (1) Blue and white jacquard coverlet with flower, geometric, and house decorations, 79" X 89". Has some discoloration, losses and wear (mostly to edge and bottom side).
