possibly Tours, second half 17th century, cropped from a larger scene of Rinaldo and Armida in Armidas enchanted garden, Rinaldo gazes into a handheld mirror while Armida dangles a pearl strand from her hair, two putti pull jewelry of gold and gems out of an open chest, putto at right carries a quiver with arrows, background with colonnade and coffered ceiling, two wide tree trunks and rose bushes, draped fabric with a single tassel, frame style border with trompe loeil parcel gilt stylized acanthus motif, 52 x 65 in. (4 ft. 4 in. x 5 ft. 5 in.)
