FOUR SMALL OPENWORK BASKETS Small black ash splint, openwork design, round tops, hexagonal bottoms, all are in good condition with a few minor breaks, 1 3/4"to 3" h. [Note: The Shakers made these fancywork small baskets for many purposes. Usually as inserts into other larger sewing baskets to hold thimbles and other small sewing objects.]
