Vintage Pair of Chinese Lacquered Garden Stools. Sometimes also used as plant stands, these beautiful, ornate pieces became popular exports as early as the 16th Century, with their designs inspiring chinoiserie motifs in Europe and America and the use of lacquer allowing them to serve as a versatile piece of furniture both indoors or out.  Condition: Scuffs and minor loss to the lacquer.  Size: 17 x 17 x 18 1/2 in.
