The porcelain potted in moon vase, flat globular moon lower belly, emerging archaic dragon flanked on the straight cylindrical neck, round mouth rim, raised on ellipse foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base color which contrast against blue color, depicted of phoenix beside imperial five claws dragon flying careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-shui waves. Since the dragon and the phoenix usually serve as auspicious symbols, any reported sightings of a dragon or phoenix were considered extremely auspicious, heralding a glorious period of peace and prosperity for the people and the country. The glaze has smooth texture and moisturizing, glossy quality. Which attracting unceasingly admiration.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years of Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
