ca. 1650; pot in typical English 17th century form and was made at the foundry of William Sturton in Somerset; bears his scratched mark of intersecting arcs, 11"d, 9 1/4"h; Condition: legs are fire eroded, part of the lip has been restored and there is a pin hole in the bottom, evidence of long use
