ca. 19th-20th century; early hardwood walnut (?) round or sack shape basket that has uniform slat rib staves with fine uniform shaved surface weaving splints, thick half splint rim band with cross over woven banding, 7"d, 5"h, Condition: dark patina, good; later early-mid 20th century miniature oak melon shaped egg basket with split and tapered carved ribs and thin splint weaves, hoop handle and rim with X-brace wrapped union, 3"x 2 3/4"x 3", Condition: little surface wear, very good
