ca. 1868 dated; sawn and carved hardwood paddle shaped smoothing board that has spatula shaped smoothing plate, bent and tapered shaft and carved rounded grip, the board has original dark green paint with white painted initials and date, tulip pattern accent, handle has screw mounted brass ring hanger, 4 1/2"x 15"x 3 1/4"; Condition: beaded edge and thumbnail carved accents to plate, nice form
