A Finely Openwork Jade “Deity Emblem”, Liangzhu Culture, ca. 3300–2300 BC. Carved from pale jade with areas of russet and dark alteration, the openwork plaque centers on a mask-like face beneath stylized headdress and curling motifs. Multiple apertures frame the symmetrical design, the surfaces softly polished with age-related alteration..
