A Carved Jade Dragon Pendant (C-Shaped ‘Zhilong’)Hongshan Finely carved in the form of a coiled dragon, the creature’s arched body forms a graceful C-shape, the head rendered with a pronounced snout, raised brow, and swept horn. The back is defined by incised ridges suggesting a mane, and a small perforation pierces the neck for suspension. The jade is of variegated celadon and russet tone with areas of calcification and surface alteration.The polish is smooth and soft, showing ancient wear.
