Blue and white porcelain plate with bird and flower decor, China, Ming dynasty (probably late Ming, 16th-17th century) Porcelain plate decorated in blue under cover, centered with an oiPerch pean among full-folded peonies, in an octagonal medallion bordered by a frieze of lambrequins and cartridges alternating ritual vases and fruits. Reverse adorns with stylized circular patterns. This type of naturalistic decor, both free and structuralE, evokes Jingdezhen's productions intended for export, probably from the second half of the Ming dynasty.
