This includes corrugated cardboard for his famous Wiggle series, but also bentwood for the High Sticking Chair, which is present here twice. In its design, Gehry had been inspired by the robustness and stability of fruit stairs. The couple of chairs measures 110 x 51 x 54 cm each and is in very good condition with minor signs of wear. Frank Gehry (born 1929) The Canadian-american architect and designer Frank Owen Gehry is considered to be the founder of deconstructivism. After studying architecture and urban planning he runs his own office in Los Angeles since 1962. He became famous with a series of corrugated board furniture in the early 1970s.
