An Antique Reversed Glass Painting by Mi Yuan Zhang. Dimension: 32" x 21". Liu Guangju, known by her pen name "Juzi," was born in 1957 in Tangshan, Hebei Province. She is a writer, painter, scholar of I Ching (Book of Changes), collector, and social activist. She is a member of the China Writers Association, the Hebei Artists Association, and a director of the Fuxi Culture Research Association. Juzi has authored and published more than ten literary works, hundreds of poems and essays, totaling over four million words. She has painted thousands of traditional Chinese auspicious dragon and phoenix artworks. Additionally, she has published multiple scholarly books exploring I Ching culture. Over the years, she has organized more than ten cultural and artistic exchange events between China and the United States. As a collector, she has amassed hundreds of ancient beads, jade discs, and other valuable artifacts. Furthermore, she has independently designed over a hundred pieces for her unique bead-string brand, Ancient Style, Modern Charm. Juzi also compiled A Glimpse into the Life of Qi Baishi, the Master of Art. Her painting Sunrise in the East was selected for use on the first-day cover of the United States' 2012 zodiac stamp.
