Chinese, late 19th or early 20th century. A very fine Chinese Qing Dynasty Dehua (blanc-de-chine) figure of Guanyin by Su Xuejin (1869-1919) with boji yuren seal mark, the seated Bodhisattva Guanyin wearing a long sleeved robe and chest adorned with jewels, figure right hand resting on knee while the left is supported with Ruyi scepter, central back with square He Chaozong style impressed seal , figure overall mounted to a gilded conforming base; ht. 9, wd. 5.5, dp. 4.75 (sculpture only) Overall very good condition with age imperfections throughout. Unable to provide photos of figure underside as this figure has been mounted to a gilded base. Please see detailed photos for the seal mark and condition. Impressed Su Xuejin seal has been drilled through when the sculpture was electrified in the 20th century.
