A LARGE FAMILLE ROSE 'ROMANCE OF THE THREE KINGDOMS' FISH BOWL 19th century Finely enamelled with a continuous scene of an archery competition with Cao Cao and attendants in a pavilion watching the military officers competing for a crimson robe hanging down a willow tree, below a key-fret border and a band of lappets, six bats against a ground of iron-red clouds on the rim, the interior finely painted with birds and insects amidst floral sprays and fruits, lacquered hardwood stand. 61.8cm (24 5/16in) diam.
