Dimensions (cm): Height: 30.7cm, Diam.: 19.5 Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong Blue and White Gourd Porcelain Vase. The porcelain potted in a shape of double gourd resemblance, with two bulbous bellies conjoined together, bulbous lower section finishing into a slender bottleneck at the top, suspending a cylindrical neck, raised on short ring foot base and slighty concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against blue fine color, depicted of many gourd bottle vase interspersed foliage and scrolling tendriLength: Blue stands for healing, trust and long life. Shades of green/blue are used to decorate homes for longevity and harmony.The Under base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years QianLong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
