A 22 BORE BALKAN FLINTLOCK KUBUR PISTOL, ALBANIA, SECOND QUARTER OF THE 19TH CENTURY with tapering barrel with traces of an inscription on the flat, retained by a broad silver muzzle band chiselled with flowers and foliage against a punched ground and enriched with niello (rubbed), stepped lock (one side nail missing), full stock encased with nielloed silver against a punched ground decorated with a running pattern of flowers and foliage over the fore-end and the butt, the latter with integral pommel, matching trigger-guard, and simulated ramrod (rubbed) 28.7 cm; 11 1/4 in barrel
