A 19th century flintlock alarm gun, constructed from part of a late 18th century Potsdam musket, 19” overall, barrel 12” with flared muzzle, the rounded lock having swan neck cock, the stock with wavy brass sideplate and large oval escutcheon engraved with crowned “FR” cypher, on its blacksmith made spike mount with lever mechanism for trip wire.
