Daum (French) Majestic Eagle Sculpture, pte de verre crystal Late 20th century Measurements: 9 1/2 in. high x 11 in. wide x 8 in. deep Limited edition pte de verre crystal sculpture depicting a majestic eagle with wings fully outstretched, captured in a dramatic descending pose. The finely modeled plumage displays layered feather detail, rendered in translucent amber and smoky tonal variations characteristic of Daum’s mastery of pte de verre techniques. The sculptural base is organically formed, enhancing the sense of movement and realism. Numbered 299/1000. Daum was founded in Nancy, France in 1878 and is renowned for its pioneering work in Art Nouveau and later sculptural glass.
