Michael Wilkinson (American, b. 1949) Atlanteans I – Echoes Late 20th century Measurements: 16 3/8 in. high × 13 in. wide × 10 1/2 in. deep Lucite and acrylic sculpture. Translucent sculptural composition depicting a stylized human head emerging from an abstracted, crystalline mass. The serene facial features are rendered with softened modeling, while jagged, wing-like extensions rise and arc outward, creating contrast between smooth figuration and fractured, ice-like forms. Executed in clear and frosted lucite and acrylic, the surface refracts light to emphasize depth and spatial presence. Numbered 174/300.
