Engr., c. 47 x 57,5 cm (sm., very light brown stain in upper edge). - Rare bird's eye view of the princely garden of Enghien constructed by the Arenberg family between 1630 and 1665, resembling the earlier view by Romeyn de Hooghe. Underneath a legend to 35 elements such as the "Berg van Parnas" (2), "Eylant la Motte" (21), etc. First published in the town atlas "Theatrum ichnographicum omnium urbium [...] Belgicarum XVII Provinciarum [...]". - Ref.
