A Lithograph "The Dancers Reward" by Aubrey Beardsley 1894 This is one of the seventeen Illlustrations Beardsley produced for Oscar Wilde's play Salome. This artwork is classic Art Nouveau, it is in black and white (due to the influence of Japanese Block Prints at the time), and the scene depicts Salome Receiving the servered Head of Jakanaan (John the Baptist) on a Silver Shield. An interesting piece. The Frame measures 46cm wide by 62cm high
