Botany.- Visscher (Nicolas, publisher.) Novæ Florum Icones, 16 copper engravings, including title, all loose, 6 plates with plant names in manuscript, a few chips and tears, mostly at platemark, 2 or 3 into plate but not affecting image, small repairs to versos, each approx. 255 x 75mm, [Amsterdam], Ex Officina Nicol. Visscher, [c.1670-1700]. ⁂ An incredibly rare set of botanical engravings. The only other copy known is in the British Museum with registration numbers: 1937,0915.449.31-37, which is also reported to have 16 plates. Literature: Bridson (Gavin) & James. J. White.
