Oaks in the Evening Landscape, 1900, color aquatint on handmade paper, signed and dated lower left Vojt. Preissig 900, print dimensions 17.5 × 30 cm, sheet dimensions 35.5 × 47.5 cm, on the reverse a stamp of Waldesova obrazarna with the number 915a, unframed, loose sheet. Provenance: The artwork comes from the renowned Waldesova obrazarna; confiscated by the Gestapo in 1939, subsequently deposited in the collections of the Narodni galerie v Praze, and in 1996 restituted to the heirs of the industrialist Jindrich Waldes.
