Thomas Hart Benton (American, 1889-1975) Goin' Home, 1937 Lithograph on paper 9 ‚Öú" x 12" (image) Edition of 250   Pencil-signed to the bottom right margin. Circulated by Associated American Artists, New York City. The sheet measures 10 ½" x 14". Not framed or matted. Goin' Home was honored as an outstanding print in the Fall 1937 Prints Survey.   Of Goin' Home, Benton wrote: "From a drawing made 1928 - in North Carolina - Smokey Mountain country. With a companion driving the car I followed these hill people till the drawing was finished."   Note: This is one of three prints offered in the auction that was not sourced from the Elman collection.
