Thomas Hart Benton (American, 1889-1975) A Drink of Water, 1937 Lithograph on Rives paper 14 ¼” x 10” (image) Edition of 250   Pencil-signed to the bottom right margin. Circulated by Associated American Artists, New York City. The sheet measures 11 ¾” x 16" and the glazed frame measures 16 ¾" x 21".   Of A Drink of Water, Benton wrote: “Ozark hill scene, made from a drawing. The house is abandoned but the well is still usable. Many such Ozark farms have been abandoned and the land turned into pasture.
