Thomas Hart Benton (American, 1889-1975) Gateside Conversation, 1946 Lithograph on paper 10" x 14" (image) Edition of 250   Pencil-signed to the bottom right margin. Circulated by Associated American Artists, New York City. The sheet measures 11 ¾" x 15 ¾" and the glazed frame measures 17 ¼" x 21 ¼".   Of Gateside Conversation, Benton wrote: “From a drawing made in southern Louisiana in the early 40s. A painting of this subject is owned by John Paxton of Ft.
