MASEREEL FRANS: (1889-1972) Belgian painter and graphic artist. A good original woodcut print signed by Masereel, one page, small 8vo (approximately 11 x 14 cm), n.p., 1962. The attractive print was created by the artist as a New Year greeting for 1962, the image depicting a man climbing above a cityscape as he reaches for a crescent moon surrounded by stars. Featuring Masereel´s initials within the plate along with the words Bonne Année and the year 1962. Signed by the artist in bold pencil with his name alone to the lower border. EX
