Original color serigraph on paper entitled The Firmament by Post-War British artist Richard Gilbert who finds inspiration in locations, concepts of time, and the seasons. Gilbert represents the heavens of the Firmament as a wondrous combination of bulbous shaped clouds from where crisscrossing shooting stars appear in an otherwise clear night sky framed by arches.
