JUDITH II - an original lithograph by Max Ernst . A lithograph from Judith a surreal story by Jean Giraudoux published by Manus press in 1972. In very good condition and on nice white Arches paper - there is some text on the verso. With an image size of 9 1/2 x 13 and a sheet size 11 1/2 x 16 inches. The edition size was 400. This example is 215/400. There were 6 different original lithographs by Ernst and 6 by Dorthea Tanning illustrating the story. Both Ernst and Tanning signed the publication page. (A copy of the page will be included with the order). A wonderful work by the great surreal master. This fine original lithograph with vivid colors will frame wonderfully. A very fine example of Ernst signature style.
