Leon Danchin studied sculpture at L’École des Beaux Arts in Paris and was accepted by the Salon des Artists at the age of sixteen. Known as one of the finest French animal artists and sculptors, created over one hundred etchings focusing on the sporting life of animals in the field. Leon Danchin (French, 1887 - 1938)
