AGNES WEINRICH (American, 1873-1946) Vase of Flowers woodcut, framed with original wood block signed Anges Weinrich, l.r. sight: 8 x 6 1/2 in., block: 8 x 6 1/2 in., frame: 17 1/2 x 26 in. Provenance: The Collection of a Boston Gentleman. Other Notes: Agnes Weinrich began spending her summers in Provincetown, Massachusetts in 1914. By 1916, she joined Blanche Lazzell and others in the Provincetown Printers artists' collective, creating monotypes and experimenting with the white line woodblock method of printmaking.
