Demetrios Galanis (Greek, 1880-1966) two illustrations possibly for French Journal ‘Le Témoin’, one depicting a man and woman in a tea room, printed signature, inscribed on the front and the reverse, with caption notes on mount, dated 1st May 1909, pen and ink over printed base heightened with white, 49cm x 32cm, the other depicting a lady at her dressing table, signed, inscribed on the front and the reverse, pen and ink, pencil and coloured crayon heightened with white, 38cm x 33cm (2).
