DESCRIPTION: John Boydell (English,1719-1804). Engraving on a paper of shepherds in a field beside a forest. "From the Original Drawing in the Collection of R.P. Knight Esq. Published Dec 1. 1803 by J&J Boydell No. 90 Cheapside & at the Shakespeare Gallery, Pall Mall, London." In wooden frame and off-white matboard. MEASUREMENTS: 9-1/4" x 6-5/8". Overall with frame: 16" x 13". CONDITION: Minor wear to surface consistent with age and handling. Minor toning to matboard and paper. Scratches to frame.
