The image measures 89 x 90.5 cm, the sheet 96 x 66 cm. Harland Miller (b. 1964) Harland Miller completed his MA at Chelsea College of Art in London in 1988 and then went for several years to New York. In 1992 he moved to Berlin, where he began his literary work, then moved to Paris. In 1996/97 he returned to London after further extensive travels. His first novel ‘Slow down Arthur, stick to thirty’ was issued in 2001 and critically acclaimed. Miller is known first of all for his paintings, in which he takes up the cover design of Penguin books and adds absurd, sarcastic or melancholy phrases, thus combining literary and painterly means of expression.
