The metal foil relief prints measure 15.8 x 11,3 cm and 15.7 x 11.2 cm resp., the plywood plates 19.1 x 14.6 cm and 19 x 14.2 cm. Bruce Onobrakepeya (b. 1932) During his high school years the Nigerian artist Bruce Onobrakepeya visited drawing courses at the British Council Art Club in Benin City. After leaving school he worked as an art teacher until he began his art studies at the Nigerian College of Arts, Science and Technology in 1957. In 1962 he received his diploma. He then taught for several years at St. Gregory's College in Lagos. Onobrakepeya is particularly interested in printmaking. He attended several workshops in Nigeria and the United States and developed experimentally indivisual printing techniques. Onobarakepeyas works have been shown in solo and group exhibitions worldwide, including at the Tate Modern in London, the National Museum of African Art at the Smithsonian Istituts in Washington and the Art Hall in Malmö (fea) Shipping costs excl. statutory VAT and plus 2,5% (+VAT) shipping insurance.
