Different phases of the building process are captured by the artist in vivid differently coloured compositions. All the etchings are inscribed, signed and numbered by the artist and printed on Zerkall-laid paper by Manfred Maley. The binding was crafted by the book-binder Ernst Ammeringin Ried. Additionally to the images are hand-signed prefaces of the Austrian Federal President, the Chancellor, the major of Vienna, the architect and the director of the construction firm part of the portfolio. There is a dedication of the artist to the head of department Dr. Walter Waiz. A further image, framed in a matt and signed and inscribed by the artist is added. The portfolio comes with 5 more etchings by Regschek. The graphics from the portfolio 'Uno-City Wien' byKurt Regschek are in very good condition with minimal traces of age and wear. The binding with illustrated title is fairly rubbed and bumped. The portfolio is numbered with "IV/XXX". The dimensions of each sheet are 54 x 54 cm, the dimensions of each image are 34 x 25 cm. (afi) Kurt Regschek (1923-2005) The Austrian painter Kurt Regschek was born in 1923 in Vienna. After the Second World War he studied for four years at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. In 1951, he moved back to Austria, where he studied as a guest student at the Vienna Art Academy under Robin Christian Andersen and Herbert Boeckl. In 1958, he had his first solo-exhibition at the cofounder of the fantastic realism, Ernst Fuchs. Regschek's works were awarded with several prices such as the Advancement Award of the City Vienna and with the 'Goldene Lorbeer' by the Vienna Künstlerhaus, which also held an exhibition for him with the title 'Kurt Regschek Arbeiten aus vier Jahrzehnten'.
