ANTON SCHUTZ Plaza Lights. Aquatint on hand-tinted, yellow wove Japan paper, circa 1929. 251x352 mm; 9 7/8x13 7/8 inches, full margins. Signed in pencil, lower right. A brilliant, luminous impression. One of only a few impressions printed by the artist on colored paper. German born Schutz (1894-1977) came to the United States in the early 1900s, settling in New York and practicing etching. He was a founder of the New York Graphic Society.
