(image). Frederick Schiller Cozzens, also known as Fred S. Cozzens, was an American painter and illustrator. He specialized in marine subjects. Cozzens is recognized for his watercolors commissioned by the New York Yacht Club as well as a portfolio of chromolithographs he issued in 1884 entitled "American Yachts", where these prints were included.
