GIANDOMENICO TIEPOLO (1727-1804) The Happy Satyr and his Family Etching on laid paper, circa 1743, a fine impression of the first state (of two), 9 x 7 inches (228 x 178 mm). The etching is the plate 10 of 'Scherzi di Fantasia', composed by 22 sheets and a frontispiece, engraved between 1743 and 1757. Very good condition. References: Rizzi, 13. De Vesme, 22.
