The poster was made as a result of an exhibition of the Galerie Ralph Wernicke in the same year. In vibrant orange a lying person is rendered on a bed. Above him the title 'Der Stolz in der Sentimentalität' is visible. The work is signed and dated lower right 'Kippenberger 87'. The serigraph in colors of Martin Kippenberger (1953-1997) is in very good condition with slight signs of wear such as minor handling marks, especially in the edge area and slight traces of color on the back. The print is numbered lower left '3/20' and has the dimensions 92 x 65 cm. Kippenberger was named the enfant terrible of his generation. He graduated from The University of Fine Arts of Hamburg, where he was inspired amongst others by Sigmar Polke. Kippenberger's refusal to adapt to a specific style resulted in an extremely prolific and diverse work, which includes sculptures, paintings, works on paper, photographs, installations and prints. Kippenberger's art work was honoured at his lifetime by exhibitions in international museums. Die Farbserigrafie von Martin Kippenberger (1953-1997) ist in sehr gutem Zustand mit kleineren Knitterspuren, insbesondere im Randbereich und leichten Farbspuren auf der Rückseite.
