Lot includes matted and framed etching of a Rabbi by Joseph Margulies (Austrian American, 1896-1984), signed and numbered in pencil, circa 1965. Born in Vienna, became a distinguished portrait and landscape painter as a resident of New York City. He received his formal training at the National Academy of Design, Cooper Union, as well as the Art Students League and continued his studies abroad in Paris, Vienna and Rome. Image measures approximately 11.75 X 8.5" and frame 18.75 X 14.75 X 0.5" some scuffs to frame. Second piece is a Rabbinical woodblock print on paper, mounted on a plaque behind plexiglass. It is signed illegibly at lower right. Sight area is approximately 7 x 6" and 13 x 10.5 x 1" overall. Combined shipping weight is around 6 lbs.
